Chandani Ayurveda spiced baked apples recipe

Baked spiced apples

Cooked apples with spices are warming, moist, easy to digest, and great for breakfast, especially in the fall and winter. I especially love to bake my chopped apples because I can toss it all together, put it in the oven and forget about it for 30-45 minutes while I’m showering and getting ready for the day. This is a delicious autumn breakfast recipe!

kitchari

Kitchari

Kitchari is a complete protein, is easy to digest, nourishing, improves digestion, loosens and eliminates toxins and is good for all doshic types. This makes kitchari ideal during stress, illness, and change of seasons, and it is a primary food eaten during Ayurvedic internal cleansing.

Ghee

Ghee can be used in place of butter and is an ideal cooking oil, as it does not burn unless heated excessively. Ghee is nourishing, tissue building, and can ignite your digestive fire (agni). Ghee is easy to make, and making it is quite a bit cheaper than buying it!
